We don’t sell much on this site. As a matter of fact, this site is mainly just for information we think our clients would find helpful or useful. However, we are required by the FTC to tell you that any time you click on a link on this website, including in our store, there is a chance that it is an affiliate link and that we may be paid a commission if you buy a product from that link. For the sake of argument and to make sure that we are in compliance with the new FTC ruling, please assume that we get paid on EVERY link you see on this website.
The bottom line is this, sometimes we are affiliate marketers for products that we believe in, use, and recommend. If we talk about a specific product, we often have an affiliate link attached to that product. When someone buys that product, we get paid a commission. It’s that simple.
That having been said, we don’t promote junk. The stuff that we promote is stuff we’ve found to be valuable in our own minds. It’s the kind of stuff we personally recommend and use, have used, or plan to use In the future. It is not in the best interest of our own company or yours to sell you a bunch of stuff that you don’t need and won’t help you grow your business.
We don’t necessarily agree with the new ruling the way it stands right now but hey, we understand why the law must exist. The FTC is trying to protect the consumer from the bad guys and scam artists out there.
We don’t think there is anything wrong with making money and we don’t think you do either. e-Edge Marketing is a for profit business not a non-profit. We started this business in order to make a living and we LOVE the fact that we can help others while doing so. That makes our business so much better!
